All Players MUST be registered for the 2023 Season to participate and should arrive to the gym 10 minutes before scheduled time. If you have not yet, please register at Available Programs (shorelittleleague.com)
Player Evaluations are MANDATORY - Players MUST attend the Spring Evaluation Clinic to be eligible for a tournament or All-star team. If you have any conflicts with the schedule, please email the league at [email protected] BEFORE the Evaluation date.
The purpose of evaluations is to help the coaches understand the talent levels to spread the teams out as even as possible and provide and fun, balanced, and competitive season.
Players should wear sneakers (NO CLEATS) and bring their glove, bat and batting helmet (if you have one). We will have bats and helmets if needed. Players will be asked to field, throw, run, and hit. Baseball players ages 8-12 and Softball ages 9-12 will also be asked to pitch.
Evaluations will be held at The Fort Athletic Club at Fort Monmouth. Please enter through the main parking lot. (off Todd Ave.) All players will need to PRINT and SIGN and BRING this waiver to participate in activities. Please CLICK HERE for the waiver form
PARENT OPTIONS
- You are invited to a complimentary workout while your child is being evaluated. As part of our partnership, The Fort Athletic Club has graciously offered use of the facility for all parents for the time your child is participating in evaluations.
- Parents WILL NOT be allowed to enter the Gym during Player Evaluations
- You may also leave your child with us once you have checked them in
- Child pick up is from the back of the gymnasium (Brewer Ave). There will be a volunteer assisting at the rear door of the gym. Kids will not be allowed to leave without a parent pick up.
